Understanding Your Digital Compact Camera Course
This course is for those people who have a digital camera but who are afraid about using it in anything other than the most automatic of modes. The course assumes nothing about your skills and aims to demystify and explain what all those things on your camera do. The course covers a range of subjects including: file types, file sizes, resolution, auto exposure modes such as Portrait, Landscape, Sport etc, exposure, aperture, shutter, exposure compensation, scene assists, white balance, flash, etc. The course is exclusively camera based and does not deal with any manipulations, sizing or other computer based subjects.
To aid the learning process assignments are set each week and your results uploaded to a blog site for review If you thought that buying a digital camera would make you immediately a better photographer but have not found this to be the case then 4 weeks on our course will help.
If you do not know whether your camera is a compact or not a simple way of telling is that if you can not remove the lens then it is a compact. Some compact cameras are almost DSLR cameras minus the size and you may prefer to take the DSLR course, if you are unsure what would suit you give us a call. You may also call if you are worried that your camera is too simple for such a course.
This course is 4 sessions, 2 hours each at 6.30pm, the cost £85, Course starts 3.6.2013 Email to Book Now
