Mike Skipper has been a teacher of photography since the early 1980's and his introduction to The Photographers Workshop was as a lecturer for Oxford Polytechnic (now Oxford Brookes University). Mike ran courses for us at the Workshop which were the most important we ever held and brought about a large group of photographers who excelled. A number went on to be professional photographers of note but Mike's courses are not about how to be commercial but how to be make great photographs that transcend the everyday and can only be defined as Art Photography.
